Job Description

This role is responsible for the procurement function, which includes supplier selection; process performance management and premises management. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts, over periods of up to 3 months.
• Responsible for the procurement function.
• Manages the end-to-end supplier selection process.
• Builds and maintains relationships with suppliers.
• Resolves supplier queries/problems and escalates where necessary.
• Makes recommendations on process performance to the procurement council.
• Develops and implements a strategy for sourcing process performance.
• Compiles management information reports.
• Manages property to enhance the image of the Company.
• Provides input into operating expense budget.

Personal Effectiveness:
• Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.
• Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality over periods of 1 day to a maximum of three months.

• Accepts and lives the company values.

Opportunity Identification/Analysis:
• Identifies and executes opportunities to market products.
• Vendor & Contract Management:
• Based on internal and external client demand, identifies appropriate suppliers for the procurement of promotional materials.
• Ensures suitable quality, acceptable pricing and effective delivery standards.
• Utilises appropriate techniques for selection and negotiation with suppliers.
• Participates in cross-functional project teams to meet specific business requirements.
• Ensures material procured adheres to corporate branding governance
