Job Overview:
As an Academic Counselor at Coding Blocks, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and advising students in their educational journey. You will be responsible for understanding the unique needs and aspirations of each student, providing them with insights into our courses, and ensuring that they have a seamless learning experience. This role involves effective communication, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of our coding programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Guidance: Provide comprehensive information about Coding Blocks' courses, curriculum, and learning paths to prospective students.
Counseling Sessions: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand students' goals, interests, and learning preferences, and assist them in making informed decisions about the courses that best align with their aspirations.
Admissions Support: Facilitate the admissions process by explaining admission criteria, handling inquiries, and guiding students through the application and enrollment procedures.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with students, ensuring a positive experience throughout their association with Coding Blocks.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from students to understand their experience and areas of improvement, and communicate this feedback to the relevant departments.
Batch Coordination: Work closely with batch coordinators to ensure smooth communication and coordination regarding class schedules, assignments, and other academic matters.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Technical background or relevant experience in counseling is a plus).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for education and a strong desire to help students achieve their learning goals.
Familiarity with coding and programming concepts (prior coding experience is a plus).
Ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
