We are seeking a highly motivated Ruby on Rails Developer with a minimum of 1+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong emphasis on MVC (Model-View-Controller) and OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that meet high-quality standards and delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable Ruby on Rails applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to develop feature-rich web applications.
• Utilize your strong knowledge of Rails 2.7.3 framework and PostgreSQL database experience to build efficient database queries and design database schemas.
• Work with Linux environments and possess SSH knowledge for server deployments and maintenance.
• Utilize cloud technologies, particularly Amazon EC2 AWS, to deploy and manage applications in a scalable and reliable manner.
• Utilize version control systems, particularly Git, to collaborate effectively and ensure codebase integrity.
• Familiarity with different payment gateways to integrate payment processing functionality into web applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems as they arise.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 to collaborate effectively with front-end developers.
• Have a solid understanding of asynchronous programming and experience in setting up and managing cron jobs for scheduling tasks.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1+ years of professional experience working with Ruby on Rails, MVC, and OOP.
• High energy level and strong motivation to meet tight delivery deadlines without compromising code quality.
• Proficiency in Rails 2.7.3 and experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and experience in using SSH for server management.
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Amazon EC2 AWS, for application deployment and management.
• Proficient with Git version control system for collaborative development.
