Job Summary: As an Uber driver, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering passengers or packages to their desired locations. You will use your own vehicle and the Uber app to connect with riders or customers who need transportation services. You will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want.
Drivers who use Uber come from all backgrounds and industries, setting their own schedules to make work fit into their lives, not the other way around.
Uber offers an alternative to traditional part-time driver jobs in all major cities in the US, including Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle—plus hundreds of other cities of all sizes across the country.
Responsibilities:
• Use the Uber app to receive ride requests or delivery orders from customers.
• Safely and efficiently transport passengers or packages to their destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service to riders or customers and maintain a positive attitude.
• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Keep your vehicle clean, well-maintained, and in good condition.
• Maintain accurate records of your driving activities, including mileage, fares, and expenses.
• Communicate effectively with Uber support and customers as needed.
Requirements:
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check.
• Must have auto insurance that meets Uber's requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a smartphone with the Uber app installed.
• Must be able to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and support staff.
