The Social Media and Content Specialist is primarily responsible for the coordination of Marketing campaigns for all applicable channels, including Social Media channels, Email Marketing, CRM, Photography, and Videography. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for project managing marketing initiatives from development through to delivery and may span multiple internal and external partners.
Job responsibilities:
• Create unique custom campaigns and content for multiple social media platforms
• Be able to produce short videos for social media campaigns - scriptwriting, production, and editing
• Manage online public relations via reviews and interactions on multiple social media platforms
• Monitor current social media trends and conduct research to craft engaging campaigns
• Take photos and videos of products, employees, etc. for usage on marketing channels
• Report social analytics to measure ROI and plan future campaigns
Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in social media
• Copywriting and content writing experience required
• Photography experience a plus
• Video production experience a plus – scriptwriting, filming, editing
• Social media campaign experience required
• Experience with social analytics
• Strong research and creative writing skills
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge of web, social, and mobile usability standards and practices
• Ability to develop original creative content for online audiences
• BA in Marketing/Advertising/Public Relations, English, or Writing preferred
• Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
• Computer Software: Strong in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Problem solver with a strong work ethic
