Purpose of the position

As our Associate Director Learning and Development for the Animal Health Commercial Business in Benelux and Nordics, you'll be an essential part of our team. You'll work closely with Sales teams, Business Unit directors, and their direct reports to develop and execute learning plans that align with our broader division and business strategy. You'll be spending a considerable amount of time in the field, collaborating directly with sales managers and representatives.

Success in this role depends on your capacity to collaborate effectively with Business Unit Leads, Veterinary Technical Service (VTS) members, subject matter experts, as well as other Learning Partners and Learning Consultants in the EURAM (Europe, Russia, Africa, and Middle East) region. As the key contact and partner for the business' performance requirements, you will work across departments to develop and implement learning solutions that promote the desired outcomes.

The role involves supporting the onboarding and training of new hires, managers, and leaders in Operations, TSV, and Marketing, among others. You'll oversee the communication, coordination, planning, and execution of training programs. Moreover, you'll track metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs to report the results to BU leaders.

Primary responsibilities
• Build relationships with Business Unit Leads and managers, understand their needs, and provide appropriate learning solutions.
• Implement annual L&D Curriculum in alignment with local business and Global L&D function.
• Train Sales Managers to be top sales coaches using select learning methods.
• Monitor and report sales managers' coaching and selling skills and provide additional support as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance outcomes, provide feedback and coaching, and ensure policies are followed.
• Identify performance needs and gaps and facilitate learning solutions when needed.

Your profile
• Bachelor's degree or master's degree (preferred)
• The position requires experience in sales, marketing, and/or sales training roles, as well as experience in facilitating, developing, and/or delivering sales learning and/or training solutions.
• The ideal candidate should also have experience in learning, talent development, or HR, as well as program/project management experience.
• You should be willing to travel for approximately 30-40% of the time.
