about the role
With reference to our Head of HR Nordic/Baltic, you will be part of the Nordic/Baltic HR Team and the local Leadership Team at the Danish site in Ballerup.
Your primary tasks will include:
- Drive the related organizational development, leadership development and employee development at the BASF Ballerup Production site
- Be a trusted partner to the Site Manager and local Leadership Team, and a sparring partner to leaders at the site in general
- Act as the local change consultant, manage and support local HR projects, facilitate workshops and meetings, ensure involvement of key stakeholders at the site and help secure successful transformations
- When needed implement central initiatives locally and make sure they fit the need of the siteAssess organizational needs and identify, develop and implement necessary training to help maximize individual competencies, optimize the allocation of roles and responsibilities and focus on having the right person in the right role
- As part of the HR organization in the region and the division, drive or contribute to the development and implementation of cross-functional HR projects and events, e.g. joint leadership training and talent management activities
- Manage the relationship with the Union representatives and Work Councils
about you
Your skills:
- Relevant experience from a similar role, preferably in the industry
- Master’s degree in HRM or postgraduate diploma in HR management and 5 years’ experience from a similar role, experience may compensate for a degree
- Knowledge of employment law, collective agreements and experience in working in a unionized environment – ideally with experience of negotiation and consultation
- Experience with recruitment from A to Z and qualified in occupational testing is preferable
- Capability in managing change as part of ongoing organizational development
- Proven track record of building strong relationships and trust with leaders and colleagues, offering HR expertise and coaching on people issues
- Fully fluent in Danish and high level of English orally and written
As a person:
- A high level of human relations skills is required as a large amount of the job holder’s activities will involve dealing with sensitive people-related issues or having to influence and facilitate change
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage ambiguity
