European Head of Procurement

As European Head of Procurement you will become part of a dynamic organization with a professional but also casual approach, flat hierarchies and short decision paths. You will be responsible for leading the European procurement team and become part of the Supply Chain Management Team.

The role
• Lead the European procurement team, including a Paper Sourcing Specialist, 2 Purchasers in Denmark (Tønder), 2 Purchasers in Hungary (Acs), and 1.5 Purchasers in Croatia (Koprivnicia).
• Lead the negotiations with the strategic suppliers, ensuring that the company receives the best possible value for money.
• Implement total cost analysis for tenders, ensuring that procurement decisions are based on a full understanding of the costs involved.
• Secure cost-saving or avoidance goals are met, contributing to the company's overall financial performance.
• Secure raw material availability for the three factories, ensuring that the company can meet customer demand.
• Support the CO2 reduction goals, contributing to the company's sustainability targets.
• Ensure that Procurement Master Data is always up to date.
• Act as Process Owner for the Procurement process.
• Provide analysis to support procurement and supply chain decisions, contributing to the overall success of the company's operations.

Requirements
• Relevant education in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement, including experience in a cross-culture leadership role.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Proactive and persistent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English
