Claims Adjuster

Main responsibilities
• The study and control of the file to gather all the required supporting documents for processing the compensation indemnification
• Issuing a compensation indemnification payment order and forwarding it to the accounting office for processing
• Monitoring of reported losses, data collection (contact with experts, researchers) and sending reports, checking invoices based on legislation and insurance policy coverage conditions, damage assessment
• The out-of-court settlement of indemnity requests for the benefit of the company
Qualifications required
• University or TEI degree in Insurance or Finance (Any higher degree will be considered as a benefit.)
• Experience of at least two (2) years in a similar position in an insurance company or in an insurance agent/experience in a car workshop as a mechanic or car claims adjuster
• Knowledge of car damage compensation legislation and relevant knowledge of the vehicle's technical specifications
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (mainly Excel) and experience with Audatex, Dat, or other specialized software
• Ability to communicate, team spirit, confidentiality, quick perception, attention to detail, ability to organize and manage time
