A Back-End Developer is responsible for server-side mobile and web application logic and integration. Back-end developers usually write web services and APIs used by front-end developers and mobile application developers.
Responsibilities:
● Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
● Write clean code to develop functional web applications
● Troubleshoot and debug applications
● Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
● Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
● Gather and address technical and design requirements
● Provide training and support to internal teams
● Build reusable code and libraries for future use
● Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
● Follow emerging technologies
● Documenting software application values.
Skills
Requirements:
● Proven work experience in a similar role
● Associate's Degree in a related field.
● Understand accessibility and security compliance
● Integrate of multiple data sources and databases (NOSQL/ SQL ) into one system
● Data migration, transformation, and scripting
● Setup and administration of backups
● Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java, Python, Go Lang.
● Familiarity with OOP (Object Oriented programming).
● REST API Development
● Familiarity with Agile frameworks is a plus
● Excellent analytical and time management skills
● Strong documentation and writing skills
● Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
● Organized and detail oriented
