Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Inventory Auditor and Cash Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting physical inventory counts, reconciling inventory records with actual counts, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of inventory data. Additionally, this role will be responsible for handling cash reconciliation, including counting cash, reviewing receipts, and reconciling discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting physical inventory counts and reconciling inventory records with actual counts
• Identifying and investigating discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of inventory data
• Maintaining and updating inventory records
• Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and potential issues
• Handling cash reconciliation, including counting cash, reviewing receipts, and reconciling discrepancies
• Conducting audits of cash registers and financial records
• Identifying and reporting financial irregularities or discrepancies
• Developing and implementing inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborating with other departments to improve inventory management processes
• Generating reports and presenting findings to management
Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in inventory management, auditing, or related field
• Experience with cash reconciliation and handling
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
• Fluency in Portuguese is preferred and English is required, proficiency in Spanish is a plus
