The Subsea Intervention Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of offshore operations for their assigned intervention vessel. The Superintendent is responsible to ensure that the vessel and all associated services are mobilized per planning. The Superintendent is responsible to ensure that operations are conducted in line with the program.

During vessel mobilization the Superintendent will support the engineers with the equipment selection, rig/vessel modifications, procedure creation, logistics etc to prepare for the upcoming operations.

Activities

- Maintain and Comply with CLIENTS established HSE procedures providing technical support in any CTA reporting and passing on 3rd party Alerts / Incident reports to ensure it is distributed within the relevant personnel.

- Provide operational support for Subsea Well Intervention activities giving support during operational problems and ensure lessons learned are implemented to minimise Non-Productive Time.

- Conduct Post Job analysis to improve operational timing and efficiency and optimising the available tools and personnel required.

- Responsible for planning adequate cover for upcoming operations on offshore vessels

- Responsible to ensure that equipment and personnel form 3rd Party Company are available offshore in a timely manner in anticipation of rig requirements.

- Coordinate with the daily onshore operations support teams in the 3rd party bases to ensure workloads are organised around the latest planning needs from offshore.

- Liaise with the Total Site Representatives Leader and ensure they are following the Logistical and Quality requirements in each facility ensuring that equipment leaves the base ready for use offshore.

- Responsible for the Daily follow up and filing of Daily report, Non conformance reports and Incident reports

- Responsible to compile and issue Well Handover documentation and reports in a timely manner to minimise well start ups.

Context and environment

- Position based in Luanda office in rotational basis 4x4;

- Deep water context with horizontal and vertical tree systems

- Costly Deep water intervention vessel with High level of technical risks due to the operational costs and high level of performances.

- Light Well Intervention Vessel activities with high level of technical risks due to the operational costs and high level of performances

Accountabilities

- Full application of HSE & Operational procedures and policies are maintained;

- All subsea operations are achieved within the cost & duration limits with expected well productivity ;

- Subordinates are efficiently managed and trained

- Subsea know-how is shared within Total group

Qualifications/Experience required

- This position primarily requires an extensive knowledge of offshore subsea, completion and intervention operations;

- Minimum 15 years experience, at supervisory level, with intervention exposure comprising at least 5 years;

- Operational experience of subsea well construction and intervention activities

- Valid IWCF Level 4 Intervention well control certificate;

- Offshore BOSIET

- Offshore medial

- Good interpersonal skills and organisational ability are also required.

- Fluent English speaker
