The Firefighting Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring that buildings/plants and other structures are safe from fire. He/she will work closely with architects, contractors, and related organization to design and implement fire safety systems effectively to meet local requirements and managements specifications.
Responsibilities
• Manage the firefighting design and subcontractors compliance with local regulation
• Design, review, and approval for each design stage to help prevent fire or fire spread
• Requirement, drawing, specification, calculation, statement, etc
• Develop the fire prevention plan and implementation.
• Supervision of fire handling & implement the fire safety guideline.
• Prepare and support permissions acquirement
• Aware and acquire necessary resources for project execution.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders
• Prepare safety operation comply with local regulation
Education
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in fire safety engineering or similar subejct
Experiences
• At least 10 years of experience as a firefighting engineer or in a similar role
• At least 2 years of experience in factory/plant building site
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
• Knowledge and experience of the Firefighting mechanical, HVAC system, Piping
• Knowledge of the building process and construction principles
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and Firefighting codes
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Project management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven software skills, e.g. SAP-PS, MS Visio, MS project, Auto Cad
• Self-motivated / entrepreneurship
• Required the license for Industrial Engineer Fire Protection System - Mechanical Engineer or Fire Protection System – Mechanical
Language
• Intermediate level of English
