Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Telecommunication Rigger. This resource will be working in the Central African Republic.
Job Responsibilities:
Will prepare, install and maintain self-supporting towers and installs antennae and transmission lines.
The duties include but are not limited to:
a. Determine a suitable tower for the application.
b. Assist in preparing the design requirements and participate in the site
preparation.
c. Assemble guyed and self-supporting towers using rigging equipment under
strict safety standards.
d. Install HF, VHF, UHF and microwave antennas.
e. Install coaxial and rigid transmission lines and grounding systems.
f. Assist in the preparation and installation of equipment in repeater sites.
Must have at least 5 years of working experience rigging and working on this type of equipment, and must have a nationally accredited rigging (heights work)
certification issued by authorities of a client Member State.
Must have a national driver’s license for a light motor vehicle and be able to drive 4x4 Off-road vehicles with manual transmission. driver’s test to ensure that they can safely handle a motor vehicle.
Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required.
