Détails de l'annonce Poste proposé : Assistant Tax ManagerMain Job PurposeThe ideal candidate is a team player who manages stakeholder to greater performance, creates and implements tax plans and works with controlling and leadership teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and potential areas of risk. for francophone Africa region. The Tax & Statutory Specialist will ensure Tax and Statutory reporting compliance.
He/ She will monitor current and impending changes to tax, statutory, accounting, and regulatory rules.Job Summary Responsible for Financial Statements Filling;Act as key contact for auditors (internal and external);Ensure accounting rules are aligned with OHADA rules;Ensure compliance to BRVM, CREPMF and other regulatory agencies requirements;Advises on cross-border tax issues (transfer pricing, withholding taxes, tax deductibility etc.);Analyses the impact of (changes in) domestic and international taxation rules;Ensures that adequate documentation/data is created and maintained for tax planning and audit purposes;Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual tax filing;Act as key contact for tax auditors;Act as key contact for handling tax requests from Unilever tax offices/Directors;Create awareness of tax inefficiencies like non-deductible cost and withholding taxes;Meet external advisors to identify opportunities and/or support the Financial Controller in doing so;Prepare and file objections and appeals in accordance with the Tax risk framework;Work with the Financial Controller and external advisors on settlement and litigation;Ensure compliance to internal reporting requirements;Ensure process and controls are adhered to SOX;Provides technical expertise to ensure accurate tax booking/accounting.
