We are an independent international engineering and project management consultancy leading the way in sustainable development and innovation.What Will You Do : Engineering design of hydraulic infrastructure including bulk pipeline and pipe network design, sewer and stormwater network design, water and wastewater treatment plant hydraulic design with guidance and inputs from senior engineerRepresenting the civil design team and leading the coordination efforts on multi-disciplinary projects3D modelling and coordination of infrastructurePreparing design deliverables including design reports, models, BOQs, drawings etc.Work closely with multiple disciplines ensuring integration of systems and spatial coordination is achievedUsing company standard collaboration and coordination tools such as BIM, Revizto, and AsiteWorking on international projects and getting to know and applying the relevant country and project specific standardsProvide guidance to graduate engineers and technicians on engineering design and software usageAutomation of daily workflows are welcomed and encouraged. You will join our team in South Africa, but you will be in contact with different kinds of Advisory Groups in the Company. The position is available in these offices; Johannesburg, Umhlanga, Cape Town, Pietermaritzburg. Profil recherché pour le poste : Civil Engineer Qualifications and Experience : Eng/B.Sc. Civil Engineering with 4 to 7 years in the relevant fieldProfessional registration with ECSA (PrEng).Proof of training and implementation of ISO standards preferred.Computational design thinkingExperience with pipeline and pipe network modelling, analysis, and design for pressure and gravity networksExperience with open channel hydraulics design for water and wastewater treatment plant designBasic understanding of Process Flow Diagrams and Process and Instrumentation DiagramsStrong multi-disciplinary coordination skillsBasic knowledge of pump station design will advantageous.BIM implementation – Creating/using BEPs and TIDPs with applying CDE principals. Experience in the following software and applications: Intermediate to advanced experience with Civil 3D with focus on pipe network modelling and design essentialExperience with hydraulic analysis software packages essentialWorking knowledge of EPANET and EPASWMM as the backbone of analysis software packagesIntermediate experience with Revit to model basic civil layouts for planning and coordination purposesExperience in using Devotech iDAS will be advantageousKnowledge of Bentley OpenFlows WaterGEMS and HAMMER will be advantageousUsing BIM, ACC or similar as a collaboration platformWorkflow automation experience with software such as Dynamo or/and scripting using C#,Python or other programing languageCompetence in using MS Office packages including Word and Excel essentialCompetence in using PowerBI or similar packages is advantageousKnowledge of GIS packages and integration is advantageous.
