How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The part time Flights Ops Support role provides subject matter expert support to key projects and needs inside of Delta Professional Services (DPS). This role works on an 'as needed' basis for the area assigned. Flight Ops Support Coordinators should have a basic understanding and knowledge of FAA Part 121 air carrier operations and moderate to expert knowledge of specific areas of focus.
• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for pilots on operational issues
• Provide support to pilots during safety related events, flights that require MCC input, or conflict resolution
• Coordinate cross-divisionally in the OCC for operational issues
• Connect pilots with CPO and other departments for problem resolution

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
• Previously a Delta Air Lines Pilot
• Computer Programs: Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, DBMS, OSS
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an attention to detail.
• Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
• Problem Solving - Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
• Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.
• Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
• Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
• Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
