Eye Clinic & Laser Institute (Est. 1980) is seeking a comprehensive/general Ophthalmologist and an Optometrist with a Florida License to work with our group and subsequently take over for a retiring doctor. This employment opportunity can lead to an ownership position with the group. We are a progressive practice with state-of-the-art offices and a surgical center.
This position allows for a hardworking and dedicated clinician to practice full scope optometry which includes the treatment of eye diseases, foreign body removal, as well as prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, and surgical co-management opportunities. You will be given the opportunity to perform cataract surgery in your first year at our on-site Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).

• We were first to establish an ASC in Brevard County.
• We were first to offer LASIK in Brevard County.
• We are currently the only provider in Brevard County to provide femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery.
• We are a high-volume ophthalmic practice with 2 comprehensive ophthalmologists, 1 Optometrist and 2 opticians.
• Located in the Space Coast of Florida, the area provides numerous lifestyle and cultural choices, as well as access to highly regarded schools and educational institutions.

• Our facilities include a 10,000 square foot main office and 3 satellite offices. The offices are very well equipped including Catalys Femtosecond Laser, topography, IOLMaster, Topcon OCT, Humphrey VF, HRT III, yag/Argon lasers and the VISX LASIK platform.

A little about you:
• Energetic, self-motivated ophthalmologist who possesses excellent surgical skills and bedside manner
• Excellent surgical skills and interpersonal relations with both patients and staff. Board eligible or Board certified.
• Partnership quality, personable, ethical, and skilled general, glaucoma or cornea trained Ophthalmologist
• Skilled Optometrist
Compensation: To be discussed / commensurate with experience. Compensation includes a base salary and progressive incentive based on individual production.
