Job Description:
• Responsible for setting up and managing the site procurement policy.
• Emphasis on strategy, supplier development, negotiations, business relationships, cost, assurance of supply and predictability
• Develop procurement strategies, policies and tactics required to achieve objectives
• Own and develop supplier relationships - key business interface with the supply base
• Develop and execute supplier selection & sourcing strategy
• Accountable and responsible for managing suppliers database
• Supplier contract negotiation and cost reduction
• Continuous improvement on supply chain efficiency and biz continuity plan
• Performs tasks as assigned and applies experience to align individual work with overall strategy using discretion and judgment.
• Review performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
• Degree in Management or Engineering with minimum 7 years related experience required.
• Demonstrated strong communication, leadership and ability to drive the team members to achieve the organizational goals.
• Knowledge in planning, SMI/VMI, inventory and supplier stocking strategy.
• Prior management experience within a Manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, speaks effectively and listens actively to others.
• Experience in presenting the report and project status to management team.
• Demonstrated ability to work with peers, partners, others and actively engages in collaborative cross functional projects.
