The 3rd International Job Fair Tokyo 2023 will be held on November 24th and 25th at Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Hamamatsucho-Kan. Around 100 exhibitors, including companies interested in hiring international students and foreign residents are expected to come!
For foreign resident job seekers in Japan, this is an opportunity to meet hiring Japanese companies, apply for jobs on the spot, and receive career advice. Participation is free, and irrespective of your Japanese level or status of residence, everybody is welcome to join.

The International Job Fair Tokyo 2023 (インターナショナルジョブフェア東京) is an event to connect hiring companies and organisations with jobseekers. After 2 hugely successful runs, with large turnouts and record numbers of successful employment and career changes, the event will be held for the 3rd time! It is an excellent opportunity for international students, specified skilled workers, highly skilled foreign professionals, and foreign residents living in Japan to find a job or seek employment advice.
The Job Fair will be held over 2 days:
- November 24, 2023 (Friday) from 10:00 to 17:00
- November 25, 2023 (Saturday) from 10:00 to 16:00

Participation is open to fresh graduates and mid-career professionals looking to change jobs. The event is free to join, and you can leave anytime at your convenience. Participants are requested to bring copies of their resume.
What to do at the International Job Fair Tokyo 2023?
Is this your first time? Here’s a quick guide as to what to do at a job fair, and specifically this job fair.
① Register Your Attendance
Once you’ve decided to attend, register here.
② Prepare for the Event
Make preparations for the event, including preparing and making copies of your resume, and having a look at the Exhibitors List for an idea of which booths to visit.
③ Attending the Event
Visit booths, speak to other participants, attend seminars and workshops, and apply for jobs! There is also a chance that you can have a same-day interview.
Important Things to Keep in Mind
Additionally, here are some important information to keep in mind:
① Bring at least 10 copies of your resume.
Generally each booth you visit will require a copy of your resume, especially when applying for jobs. The more booths you visit, the more resume copies you will need, and you may find yourself running out fast. Photocopies of your resume are acceptable.
② Dress Appropriately and Presentably
Although the event has no fixed dress code, it is still a job fair and first impressions are important. Avoid dressing too casually, which means no sandals, no shorts, no mini skirts, and nothing revealing. Exercise your own discretion as to what is suitable to wear.
③ Business Casual (or Interview Suit) for Interviews
Participants planning to visit booths having same-day interviews should dress in business casual (or interview suit). Even if not a full-on suit, at the very least a business jacket or a formal cardigan should be worn just to be safe. (You can carry it with you and put it on when it’s time for the interview.)
