JOB SUMMARY:
Provide supervision of daily operations of the Admissions and Reception department in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the Strategic Plan through managing all aspects of quality, service and financial functions. Serve as primary point of contact for patients, family members and community members inquiring about services offered by Rimrock. Provide the administrative expertise in planning, leading, organizing, coordinating and controlling the functions of the Admissions and Reception departments delegated by the Chief Nursing Officer. Assure adherence to state statutes and rules, CARF standards, and federal regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Positively represents the organization and promotes Rimrock’s Mission to the community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assist with preparing Admissions and Reception component of the annual budget for review, presentation and approval by the CEO.
• Organize Admission services to meet short-term and long-range strategic goals.
• Assure professional development and customer service training of Admissions and Reception staff.
• Assist with QI data collection and trending for Admissions and Reception.
• Assist with identifying annual Risk Management measures and reporting on them quarterly.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring staff.
• Supervise and assist with evaluations of staff.
• Schedule staff to assure adequate coverage at all times.
• Assure documentation standards are met on all patient’s medical records.
• Answer incoming calls, meet with walk-ins, develop relationships with community members.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills Required Experience
EDUCATION/TRAINING: Minimum of three years in healthcare; preferably behavioral health or addiction medicine; and 2 years previous supervision experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous experience in customer service
