Airswift (Air Energy Caspian LLP) is currently looking for a Craft Training and Capability Development Manager (for KZ passport holders) for one of our large project in Atyrau, 5\2. We are looking for candidates with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance to ensure that the company continues to differentiate itself from competitors by delivering quality service to our client’s requirements.
Job Description
• Provide functional guidance and mentoring to Craft Training Team
• Evaluate effectiveness of craft training with an emphasis on skills and productivity improvement for national trainees
• Review craft training and assessment curricula based on project needs
• Plan, assess, organize and control training quality and schedule time
• Identify, Develop and Implement improvement initiatives and where necessary creative approach changing work conditions
• Lead the team to foster cooperation and excellence in training delivery
• Engage with senior project management and government officials on training progress. Verify and report metrics around training department performance to senior project management
• Identify and manage internal projects and their stakeholders related to process improvement and technology advances
• Work with Contractors, Training Providers and project management team on craft training curriculum
• Maintain compliance and team discipline within all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Focus team on critical tasks; provide direction, oversight and technical support to the team
• Identify key focus areas for the group to achieve milestones
• Evaluate the subordinate performance under the PMP program, provide feedback and ensure coaching/mentoring
• To be the prime point of contact with for the Craft Training Program
• Make Project Training business decisions
• Ensure Training Objectives are drafted and finalized to the required standard
• Confirm endorsed Training Solution
• Acts as the interface between the Decision Executive and Integrated Team, bridging the strategic priorities confirmed by the Decision Executive with the delivery and assurance of Craft Training
• Determine the roles and responsibilities of all personnel assigned to the Craft Training Team
• Interpret job specifications to the Craft Training Team
• The development where necessary, and implementation of all necessary systems and procedures for effective communication within the Craft Training Team
• Ensure close coordination with the other project departments and Site Management Teams
• Approval and implementation of a Project Training Plan
• Establish Craft Training Team to perform and support all activities of the Project Training Program including Training, Administration, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Safety Management
• Ensure the work process of the Craft Training Team meet the quality and craft training requirements
• Ensure the Craft Training Team adopts a document control system
• Establish the necessary working relationship with both local and national dignitaries and agencies, and with the Atyrau Interface Manager
• Support in all Kazakh Craft Training Services reporting activities
• Develop any special relationships within the project, in order to Improve communications and understanding of the work within the Craft Training Team
• Ensure the project requirements are fully met
• Establish requirements and expectations in relation to the Craft Training Team and work to be performed and take suitable action in respect thereof
• Ensure that appropriate Project Training Procedures, Plans, Instructions and other relevant documents are developed and implemented for the Craft Training Team
• Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, make reports and participate in project reviews and discussions as appropriate
Requirements:
• Degree in a related discipline
• 5 years of work-related experience
• Technical knowledge with craft, safety and knowledge development and competency assessment
• Fundamentals of effective training delivery to construction trades and staff onboarding
