Our Client is looking for a Project Director to join their Solar PV Project in Uzbekistan for a full time position.
Role requirements
Education: Graduate Electrical Engineer
Experience: PV Solar projects:
• Should have 20+ years’ experience in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical aspects of PV solar projects with experience in Middle East /CIS countries preferred.
• Experience in the project management of large size Solar EPC projects (Greenfield). Skills:
• Project Management skills: Co-ordination, schedule management, procurement and logistics management, mobilization of site, establishing rules and regulations, handling contracts.
• Financial management skills : Budgeting, invoicing, cost control
• People Management: Client management, team management, vendor/ sub-contractor management, supervisory skills.
• Excellent decision making and creative problem solving
• High level of knowledge in other disciplines like civil & mechanical.
• Good awareness of new engineering and construction technologies/ methodologies
• Ability to innovate and think outside the box
• Contract and subcontract management & negotiation
• Ability to develop effective strategies
• Ability to influence, negotiate and achieve results
• Intermediate to high level of MS Office skills (including Primavera
