I can't speak Japanese. Can I get a well-paying job in Japan?

I'm in the process of learning but I don't think I'll be able to speak much by the time I go. Are my options quite limited?

Depends on what you mean by well-paying, but you can get a decent English-teaching job. It doesn't require Japanese, just being a native English speaker + university degree. I can get by comfortably on my salary.

You gotta work hard for it, and the Japanese workstyle is quite different, but there are good jobs here! You just have to find them. Most of bilingual job search engines have a language ability option so you can adjust your search based on that.
