How do people tell their umbrellas apart?

Don't all those conbini umbrellas look the same? Don't they get stolen? Just something I wondered when I visited.

I put colored masking tape on the handle of mine. I've seen people put string or hairties and such to tell theirs apart. But yes, sometimes they get stolen or accidentally taken and then you're stranded without one...
